2.How to maintain the rubber expansion joint:
Its transmission medium determines the life of the rubber expansion joint. Corrosive acids, bases, oils and chemicals have an impact on the powder in the solid, iron and steam in the gas. Installation problems During installation, the installation area will be exposed to the sun, which will damage the rubber and age, so it is necessary to cover the rubber expansion joint with a layer of sunscreen film. In terms of installation, the rubber expansion joint itself has a high altitude installation, and the pressure requirement is relatively large, so the rubber expansion joint can be installed at this time. These two methods also use external force to maintain the rubber expansion joint. During operation, when the rubber expansion joint is put into operation, it is necessary to regularly check the bolt tightness of the installation part of the rubber expansion joint. If used for a long time, the screws will rust and break, so they need to be replaced. This maintenance method belongs to the replacement of small parts, which can largely maintain large components.
3. Installation method:
The model, specification and pipeline configuration of expansion joint shall be checked before installation to ensure they meet the design requirements. For the expansion joint with inner sleeve, it shall be noted that the direction of the inner sleeve shall be consistent with the flow direction of the medium, and the hinge rotation plane of the hinge type expansion joint shall be consistent with the displacement rotation plane. For the compensator requiring “cold tightening”, the auxiliary components used for pre deformation shall not be removed until the pipeline is installed. It is forbidden to adjust the installation out of tolerance of the pipeline by deformation of the corrugated expansion joint, so as not to affect the normal function of the compensator, reduce the service life and increase the load of the pipeline system, equipment and supporting members. During installation, welding slag is not allowed to splash on the surface of wave case, and wave case is not allowed to suffer from other mechanical damage. After the pipe system is installed, the auxiliary positioning components and fasteners used for installation and transportation on the corrugated expansion joint shall be removed as soon as possible, and the positioning device shall be adjusted to the specified position according to the design requirements, so that the pipe system has sufficient compensation capacity under environmental conditions. The movable elements of the expansion joint shall not be blocked or restricted by the external components, and the normal operation of each movable part shall be ensured. During the hydrostatic test, the secondary fixed pipe support with the end of the expansion joint pipe shall be reinforced to prevent the pipe from moving or rotating. For the compensator and its connecting pipeline used for gas medium, pay attention to whether it is necessary to add temporary support when filling water. The 96 ion content of the cleaning solution used for hydrostatic test shall not exceed 25PPM. After the hydrostatic test, the accumulated water in the wave shell shall be drained as soon as possible and the inner surface of the wave shell shall be blown dry.
4.Characteristics of rubber expansion joint:
Rubber expansion joints are used at the front and rear of the water pump (due to vibration); Due to different materials, rubber can achieve the effects of acid and alkali resistance, but its use temperature is generally below 160 ℃, especially up to 300 ℃, and the use pressure is not large; Rigid joints have no acid and alkali resistance. Special ones can be made of stainless steel. The operating temperature and pressure are higher than those of rubber expansion joints. Rubber expansion joints are cheaper than rigid joints. It is easier to install them above; The rubber expansion joint is mainly used to reduce the vibration of the pipeline.
