Application of expansion joint in gas pipeline:
The gas pipeline, especially the gas pipeline of some self-provided gas generator kilns, has a certain amount of heat due to the gas itself. The pipeline from the gas station to the kiln and the pipeline from the kiln to the gas burner sometimes has a large expansion with the change of the gas temperature. It is necessary to set expansion joints to relieve the pipeline stress and thrust. Expansion devices and expansion joints are often installed in some cold gas stations where the pipeline is far away from the transmission to relieve the push and pull force of the pipeline due to thermal expansion and cold contraction.
When purchasing pipe expansion joints, they must be purchased in strict accordance with the relevant data provided by the design department. The following data requirements must be provided to the manufacturer when purchasing:
1. Pipe pressure and diameter (general diameter of pipe)
2. Pipeline setting (including overhead pipeline and directly buried pipeline)
3. Expansion amount of required pipe expansion joint (also called compensation amount)
4. Connection mode of pipeline and expansion joint (including flange connection and welding)
5. Medium and medium temperature
If you do not know the compensation amount, you must provide the manufacturer with the pipeline information, and the manufacturer will calculate the compensation amount.
