1. Before installing the rubber expansion joint, loosen the pressure plate bolts, stretch the rubber expansion joint to the installation length, and then tighten the bolts diagonally.
2. The rubber expansion joint should be installed between the two fixed brackets on the straight section of the pipeline. In order to ensure the normal expansion and contraction of the rubber expansion joint and prevent it from being pulled off, guide brackets and stoppers should be provided.
3. When installing a single flange rubber expansion joint with an inner sleeve, the direction of the inner sleeve should be consistent with the flow direction of the medium, and the hinge rotation plane of the hinge type rubber expansion joint should be consistent with the displacement rotation plane.
4. For single flange rubber expansion joints that need to be “cold tight”, the auxiliary components used for pre-deformation should be removed after the pipeline is installed.
5. It is strictly forbidden to use the method of deformation of the single flange rubber expansion joint to adjust the installation tolerance of the pipeline, so as not to affect the normal function of the rubber expansion joint, reduce the service life and increase the load of the pipeline system, equipment and supporting members.
6. All movable elements of the rubber expansion joint shall not be stuck by external components or limit their range of activities, and the normal movement of each movable part shall be ensured.
7. After the installation of the piping system, the yellow auxiliary positioning components and fasteners used for installation and transportation on the single-flange rubber expansion joint should be removed as soon as possible, and the limiting device should be adjusted to the specified position according to the design requirements, so that the piping system can be protected in the environment. So there will be sufficient compensation capacity under the conditions.
