2.Good high temperature resistance: PTFE can be used at a temperature of up to 260 ℃, so PTFE rubber expansion joint is suitable for pipeline system under high temperature environment.
3.Good wear resistance: the surface of PTFE is very smooth and has good wear resistance, which makes PTFE rubber expansion joint have a longer use
Disadvantages
1.High cost: PTFE rubber expansion joint has high corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance, so its material cost is relatively high, resulting in high product cost.
2.Installation and maintenance are complicated: PTFE rubber expansion joint needs to be installed according to strict installation requirements, and improper installation will affect the normal operation of the pipeline system. In addition, PTFE materials are more brittle than ordinary rubber materials, and if damage occurs during use, timely replacement is necessary to avoid pipeline leakage.
