Product Introduction

Butt welding weldolet is a pipeline connection component used to connect branch pipes and main pipes in a pipeline system, forming a flat connection. Reinforced pipe fittings used for branch connection, replacing traditional branch connection types such as reducing tees, reinforcing plates, and reinforced pipe sections.

Size:

Common sizes range from 1/2 inch to 48 inch, which is DN15-DN1200.

Pressure level:
According to design requirements, different pressure levels can be selected, with common pressure levels of 150 pounds and 300 pounds, namely PN10-PN16.

Applicable materials:
The material selection of the butt-welding branch pipe mainly depends on the pipeline material used in the pipeline system and the requirements of the working environment. Common materials include carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and copper.

Applicable scope:
Butt welded branch pipes are suitable for pipeline systems in various industrial fields, including petrochemical, power, papermaking, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, etc.
Both the branch and main pipes are welded, and there are various types of connections between the branch pipe platform and the branch pipe or other pipes, instruments, and valves, such as butt welding, socket welding, and threading.

Adavantages and Disadvantages

Advantages:
1. The welded weldolet is firmly connected and can work stably under high pressure and high temperature conditions;
2. The connection surface is flat, without obvious protrusions, and is not easy to accumulate impurities, which is conducive to the flow of pipeline fluid;
3. Simple structure, easy installation, and convenient maintenance and replacement.

Disadvantages:
1. The installation complexity is high, requiring welding equipment and technology;
2. The welding weldolet cannot be adjusted or detached, and needs to be replaced as a whole;
3. The cost is relatively high, and there will be a certain cost increase compared to other connection methods.
